Mandy Maney, CMT Massage has completly changed my life but this was not always the path I intended to follow. Before entering into the field of massage therapy, I attended an art school and graduated with an associates degree in graphic design. Art has always been a huge part of my life and I always make time to draw, paint and express my creativity. As a very passionate person, I love to express myself through any type of art. I felt the draw to massage therapy in the year 2006 and graduated from the Harris school in the winter of 2007. From that point I was on a quest to find the perfect place to work. Two weeks after graduating, I walked through the doors of Limestone Therapeutic Massage and knew that this would be my new home away from home. Even as a child, I have always been very athletic, softball being my main sport. I have traveled all over the East Coast and even Europe to play ball. With this background I am able to incorporate my knowledge of sports, sports injury and muscle usage into custom massages for each of my clients. I am trained in Deep tissue, swedish and trigger point massage focusing on sports massage and Thai Yoga massage. There are also many clients who come to me as an escape from their hectic day. I keep myself busy with my 3 year old American Bulldog named Angus. We love to hike and hang out in the area parks. Our newest fun time together is camping! He is my 'Little Man.'' Massage has opened my eyes to new ways of thinking. I enjoy meeting new people and love to laugh. It would be totally exciting to see you all soon... Namaste, Mandy |
